Global one-stop-shop MRO provider FL Technics announced that its Jakarta-based subsidiary – PT. Avia Technics Dirgantara (FL Technics Indonesia) – has been certified by Indonesia's DGCA as a Part 145 Approved Maintenance Organization. In the upcoming several weeks, the company’s MRO base in Jakarta is to pass audits by Indonesian and Thai airlines.
The newly received Indonesian AMO 145 approval allows FL Technics to start Airbus A319/A320/A321 and Boeing 737 NG/CL maintenance works at its Asian MRO base, located at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport, Jakarta, Indonesia. The 9000 sq. m. hangar accommodates up to three narrow-body aircraft at a time.

FL Technics, a global provider of one-stop-shop aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul services, is further expanding the range of its Continuous Airworthiness Management capabilities by adding Airbus A330 aircraft type to its EASA Part M approval.
The updated Part M (Continuous Airworthiness Management Organization Approval) was issued following a successful audit conducted by EASA earlier this year. The new approval enables FL Technics to offer Airbus A330 operators and owners a broad variety of engineering services, including Airworthiness Directive (AD) and Service Bulletin (SB) compliance control and their implementation, as well as aircraft maintenance programme development, technical records management, aircraft audits, and other services.

FL Technics, a global provider of integrated aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul services, has started cooperation in a Power-by-Hour (PBH) program with a Thai cargo airline – K-Mile Asia. FL Technics will ensure continuous spare parts supply for the carrier’s Boeing 737 freighters.
With two Boeing 737-400SF aircraft, K-Mile Asia operates air cargo charter flights across South East Asia. Starting September 2016, FL Technics will ensure both routine and ad hoc (AOG) spare parts delivery to the carrier’s hub at Suvarnabhumi International Airport (BKK), Bangkok, Thailand. The agreement also covers spare parts deliveries to airports in Vietnam, Singapore, Hong Kong, as well as other destinations in the region.

FL Technics, a global provider of integrated aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul services, signed a cooperation agreement with Semmco, a UK-based manufacturer of ground support equipment and aviation access platforms. Under the agreement, FL Technics shall act as Semmco’s exclusive representative in 24 countries across Southeast Asia, Eastern Europe and the CIS.
FL Technics will exclusively supply Semmco’s products in Myanmar, Laos, the Philippines, Cambodia, Nepal, Bangladesh, Bulgaria, Hungary, Slovakia, Latvia and Lithuania, as well as acting as company’s agent and reseller in Russia and the CIS region.

FL Technics, a global provider of integrated aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul services, continues the diversification of its base maintenance client portfolio by signing a new deal with an airline from the MENA region – Express Air Cargo. Under the agreement, FL Technics shall provide redelivery checks on two of the carrier’s Boeing 737s. Both Boeing 737-300 aircraft have already arrived in the FL Technics maintenance centre in Vilnius, Lithuania. At the moment they are subjected to a variety of inspections, overview of the technical documentation, pre-planned checks and thorough structural examination as well as all the necessary repair procedures in accordance with the technical maintenance plan prepared by FL Technics specialists.

FL Technics, a global provider of tailor-made aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul services, has successfully completed a cooperation project launched together with the United States Armed Forces. Under the project, FL Technics provided support services as well as secured appropriate conditions for the maintenance of heavy-lift helicopters CH-47 Chinook conducted by the U.S. Army 160th SOAR (A).
The U.S. Armed Forces chose Lithuania as its base for carrying out maintenance works on its military MH-47Gs (one of the latest versions of CH-47 Chinook) while preparing for the annual Exchange Training JCET 2016 in Europe. Operated and serviced by specialists from the 160th SOAR (A), MH-47Gs reached Kaunas International Airport in the beginning of April.
