FL Technics, a global provider of one-stop-shop aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul services, continues increasing its presence in the components support market. The European MRO has recently signed a brand new brake and wheel maintenance contract with Small Planet Airlines, a leisure carrier with an all-Airbus fleet of 18 aircraft.
According to the freshly inked 3-year contract, FL Technics shall support the carrier’s Airbus A320 fleet under the charge-per-aircraft-landing programme. The agreement covers component supply, repair and overhaul in Small Planet Airlines’ bases across the UK, France, Italy, Germany, Cambodia, Poland and Lithuania as well as in all of its future locations.

FL Technics, a global provider of one-stop-shop aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul services, is delighted to announce the signing of a 4-year long CAMO support agreement with Somon Air, the first private airline in Tajikistan. FL Technics will also provide the carrier with Engine Condition Monitoring services.
Under the long-term agreement, FL Technics experts will support the Tajikistani carrier’s Boeing 737NG and CL fleet with complete Continuing Airworthiness Management services. Moreover, FL Technics will assist Somon Air in the process of setting up and implementing the Commsoft‘s OASES MRO IT system thus making a strong step towards the launch of an in-house Continuing Airworthiness Management Organization.

The new service is mainly aimed at the company’s customers in the Middle East, the CIS and Asia Pacific. In terms of its liveliness and potential, the market for Bombardier CRJ100/200 and Boeing 737 CL in the CIS, the Middle East and Asia is exceptionally attractive, as a lot of operators are still in the process of replacing their Soviet- or old Western-built fleets. As a result, in the CIS alone the worth of engine lease and repair market for CRJ100/200s has reached $120 million.

FL Technics Training, a global provider of aviation technical training services, continues expanding its already extensive list of clients from the rapidly emerging Southeast Asia. The company has signed a contract with SIA Engineering (Philippines), an MRO company with over 15 000 sq. m. of modern hangars in the Philippines.
Under the reached agreement, SIAEP engineers have undergone 8 weeks of training comprised of theoretical as well as practical courses. FL Technics Training (Part-147 certified training organization) specialists conducted Boeing 737 – 600/700/800/900 category B1 and category B2 theoretical training courses for a group of ten technical maintenance professionals at the SIAEP headquarters in Clark International Airport, located in the Philippine town of Angeles.
